Fluff Project: The Jarls of Jotunheim

We all know about the birth world of the Space Wolves themselves, but what do we know of the Skaerls? They are servants of the wolves, many born and raised in the halls of the Aett itself to serve the chapter.  Others were gathered from across the imperium during many millennia of conquest and battle.

One world Jotunheim, a frigid mountainous deathworld, produces a deadly militia, Who have happily served the Space Wolves since the Great Crusade.

Due to their close ties to the Space Wolves, it is often that the Imperial Guard Jotunheimm Regiments appear with support from the Vylka Fenryka. Rune Priests provide guidance and support with their powers of the storm, while some of the Wolves mighty dreadnoughts provide the Jotunheim infantry with withering barrages of fire, and tanks support their advance, while the reckless rocket forth or drop in behind on jump packs to engage in brutal melee with the enemy.

The Great Wolf gathers small forces from around his chapter, and only those who prove crazed enough, are sent to assist the Jotunheim Regiments, where they will win glory with one of the most ruthless and dedicated forces the Imperium has ever seen...

Basically I envision these small support forces as being Dreadnoughts made from gravely wounded lone wolves, who still seek glorious death in battle, Skyclaws who are exceptionally recalcitrant, or Wild-eyed wolf guard who cannot assimilate, and tank crews that have a history of close calls.

Not that they're misfits, just that they push too hard and fast, that their companies can't keep up. That they can't let go of past dishonor, or that they seek a thrill that only one style of combat can provide. Tank crews that will fire too close to friendly forces, or bring down buildings that hide only one enemy, or drive through obstacles that other would not. Basically they're the most brutal and reckless the chapter has to offer, and are in need of tempering.

How does this sound?
