Corswain
With the way that marine is posed I'm hoping for a guns-out pose. Reyner
You reckon they will include the parts to run the damaged version of him? Where he loses his jet pack and stuff? Slips
The Similarities to Curze's pose was to be expected since Corax was, in part, made for a Curze Prototype they weren't happy with. Fire Golem
Corax sees himself when he fights Curze on Istvaan, and thinks that he would have turned out the same way had he not been found by civilised people. He says how they were born of the same stuff, and their lives were a coin toss apart. Jarl Kjaran Coldheart
the way I see it, his emo phase began at the DSM and ended with the bullcrap of Deliverance Lost. How this is going to tie inwith his future purging of the mutated Marines, and his departure from Deliverance, is up for the Black Library to decie WLK Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/317409-christmas-jigsaw/page/2/#findComment-4259663 Share on other sites
Calas Typhon
Pretty sure he got so far into that Emo faze that he just decided to abandon everything and bugger off into the Eye. Don't get me wrong, Loosing the bulk of his legion would do that, its understandable, but damn.. so so emo. At least Konrad had a reason, you know, being pretty much insane! MorgothNL
He's actually quite te disappointment to me :(. He gives me more of a named character feel, than a primarch. It's a cool model, but it isn't a 'holy %$# that looks good and awesome' model. He falls in the same category as Guilleman and Logar to me, just a 'meh' looking primarch (love all the others). Ironwithout
Really dissapointed with this. The model itself is bloody stunning but the pose is wrong. If he's supposed to be landing like the back swept hair would indicate that's a wierd way to land. If he's supposed to be lunging backwards firing which is pretty cool then the hair doesn't make sense. On the upside for me with a helmet conversion it would correct the issues I have with him Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/317409-christmas-jigsaw/page/2/#findComment-4259978 Share on other sites
Quixus
Corax wanted to execute a flying kick, but missed, so he shot the marine instead. ;) Also I think Corax should have two lightning claws not one. Let's hope the pistol is at least assault 2 S D AP1 or something like that. cypher 89
I personally really like the model, the pose to me looks like he just touching down whilst shooting a marine, like the fact that one claw is retracted ( maybe we have an option to have both claws out. which would be cool) but I really do hold judgment on these miniatures till firstly I see them with paint on as its easy to miss details but secondly I really wait to see them with paint on via a source that is not FW as I feel they really don't do their miniatures justice in some cases. Hesh Kadesh
When will FW get someone who can do faces? They are god awful. Quixus, he has a pair of S6 Mastercrafted AP3 Pistols, or alternatively the ability to make a Vector Strike as if he was a Flying Monstrous Creature. He can quite capably knock out of pair of non-TEQ's per turn with his shooting alone. Despite having Fleet, one of the fun things (IIRC) is that he cannot actually benefit from the same 6" Run move that he allows the rest of his legion to do. Ordo Machinum
...is that Corax's second pistol ALSO on his left side at his back? What a reach around. I think I'd want to swap his base with Curze's. Maybe his legs too. A helmet option would be nice. I wish no one mentioned it was a prototype. I just see Curze.
