I've already got a small selection of BA heresy models, so decided I was going to go with Night Lords and Blood Angels, because I like the fluff for both and have got painting methods that I really like nailed for them. However, fluff question! Can anyone tell me of any campaigns or battles the two fought against each other? Would be nice to frame it all in some sort of existing campaign, so if anyone knows anything that would be great. Any books/lexicanum articles etc you'd suggest? The sword later came into Talos' possession centuries later after he murdered Aurum's heir. Lord Asvaldir Posted December 24, 2015 Share Posted December 24, 2015 Well there were Blood Angels and Night Lords at the siege of Terra, besides that battle I can't think of any battles between them. During most of the Heresy after Istvaan the Night Lords were out on the eastern fringe fighting the Dark Angels, while the Blood Angels were sent on a campaign by Horus to keep them distracted. Not a whole lot of overlap between Night Lords and Blood Angels as far as battles go. I quite like the idea of some Seige of Terra action. I've gone with choosing colours and individual fluff over anything else for my 2 forces, so I'll have a think and get some back story together for them. Anything to further theme the forces! Caillum Posted December 24, 2015 Share Posted December 24, 2015 Yeah, was going to mention the Siege of Terra too, but that's pretty bare-bones at this stage. Loddfafnir113 Posted December 24, 2015 Share Posted December 24, 2015 I was looking for something similar as I'm going to be doing Night Lords and Imperial Fists with the box (they fought together at least once during the crusade too (didn't end well :P) so can always use them allied for pre heresy games), but the way I look at it there's a decent length of time between the Thramas Crusade and Siege of Terra, and I can imagine the Fists, Angels and Scars all had small forces deployed here there and everywhere, and probably still sent small groups out occasionally if they had confirmed reports of traitors doing traitory things. Phall was like that if I'm not mistaken, though not read the crimson fist yet so not 100% on that.
