Its looking really nice, I'm curious about what your paint recipe is for the white you use.

As for chipping, I always used to use the foam that came from the blister packs, but I am all out of that now, what do you use?

Also, you said you were thinking about adding to your bases. Something I found pretty nifty is watch gears. You can get a pack of like a hundred or so on ebay for pretty cheap. Just something I found if you were thinking of going that way.

Hi plaguereaper thanks got the feedback.

The recipe is relatively straight forward.

Undercoat grey.

Pre shade brown in the recesses and anything from below

Pre highlight white mainly in the middle of the panels.

Base coat Vallejo Aged white

Then I apply an oil wash using Abteilung Brown thinned with white spirit and applied liberally. I tend to dab off any excess after it's had some time to begin drying.

then apply some aged white again to the higher areas or middle of the panels if it's a tank.

Forgot about the chipping question, I use scouring pads, just rip the sponge off in small chunks and it's great. I find it effective anyway. Edited by Ada

Taken a little break from my Death Guard until recently, started cranking a few new squads out and revisiting a couple of older ones and touching them up a bit.

Added a Horus pic

So I was never really happy with how my Medusa looked and decided to revisit it again. I'm a bit happier with it now and it's about more in line with the rest of my army.

Back again with a Lightening Strike Fighter.

I had a blast painting this model and my first attempts at smoke trails didn't go to badly in my opinion.

I painted the bottom of it sky blue, a little homage to WW2 fighters.

Got a 4k battle booked in at warhammer World next month, so I'm revisiting a few units to get them finished. First up a squad of Death Shroud termies.

This'll be the first a few updates in the next week or two.

Got an additional Medusa and two quad mortars on the way from FW to add to my existing ones. I'll also be looking at a few other existing units to get them tarted up a bit

Had this lying around with a base coat on for about three months so thought I’d have a stab at finishing it off. Really like the Sicaran, possibly the coolest Heresy tank?

Any chance of a full army shot?

I don't really play much, however I'm starting to reorganise my loyalist marines to play with the heresy ruleset, as it makes it possible for me to play them as I envision them; where as 8th Ed's. killing of the drop pod assualt doesn't.
