Sneakybamsen; looks like you have your conversion sorted.

Thought i'd throw one of my conversions in to the mix :) It may provoke further inspiration - or not lol

Several of you requested that I post my progress on this job. While this isn't exactly step-by-step, I thought I'd at least let you see what happened, as a sort of courtesy for your interest and guidance =)

On friday I finally had an opportunity to attempt this long awaited conversion. It was not as simple as I had hoped, but it was not too difficult either. I did make the mistake of not cutting properly when I wanted to make the torso of the chaplain fit onto the legs of the biker, so I ended up using perhaps a bit more green stuff than first anticipated, and had to adjust the stance of the rider a bit while the green stuff was setting.

As you can see, he doesn't have any effects on the back of the bike, nor does he have any ravenwing ornamentation. I had to remove the upper part of the seat to be able to fit a backpack to the chappie. In the end I did stick his book in there as well, although that wasn't part of the original plan, as I was afraid it would be more complicated than it turned out to be.

I will update this once I get around to coating and slapping some paint on him.

Regards

Sneaky

I find myself in the same boat. I'm wanting to make a nice convertion for my RW and one for my DW. Lots of ideas here to get my gears turning for the RW one. I was thinking of the hooded IC model if the head was separate. But that's an expensive model just for a head. The LE one is nice too but again, the cost alone makes it tough for one bit.
