RandomMarine
I know the don't exist in 30k at the moment but Personally I can see the shattered legion list having them as make shift vehicle. Sort of oh no all are predators have been destroyed I know let's stick heavy weapons on our rhinos variants I can see are Twin linked reapers Twin linked heavy bolters Twin linked plasma blaster Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/317701-razorbacks-in-30k-eventually/ Share on other sites
Lucien Eilam
I doubt it, it would mean retconning the well-established STC discovery date of M36, and we already have pintle heavy weapons for Rhinos, which fill a similar role. Not as much call for capacity 6 transports in 30k either, with squad sizes typically being larger. I think additional pintle mount options are more likely. khorneguy
Can't see them retconning the discovery of the Razorback template from m36 and the Shattered Legions didn't really have the time or resources to make anything new, but it'd be nice to see some lighter transports in 30k in some form. I was gutted that the Militia lists don't have anything lighter than a Gorgon without taking Survivors of the Dark Age. The4thHorseman
There are other Rhino Chassis Vehicles which were lost to modern 40k armies. The Rhino Advancer comes to mind. I could see them add a precursor or ad-hoc version ala Sicarian chassie or something like that. RandomMarine
Didn't one of the advancer variants have a turret similar to the razorback? Hesh Kadesh
Rhino's can already take a Heavy Bolter or Heavy Flamer. While it's not got the in universe 'power' of a TL heavy (reroll to hits in 40k, basically means that in real life, there are 25mm rocket propelled explosive rounds at a rate of around 30 per second rather than 15 per second.) in game it can either take the form of a Pintle weapon, or a CROWS type system where it is mounted on the backhatch. Changing one of the sides to something like a Smoke Launcher, Optics or a Searchlight might help though.
