So I have a couple of test marines done, but i must say im not interely happy with it. Something is missing...

Should i paint the Aquila? Should i add some Blue to the power pack? Maybe its the gun thats needs some color?

Also my Company Master. Still dont know if he will dual wield or not.

You could use a light blue for the shoulder rim, adding another color to your scheme.

I like to work with secret weapon blue wash when working with silver. It gives the whole model a bluish, like GW is painting the Grey Knights.

Hmm could work. Good idea.

Maybe go for a slightly darker shade for the soft/joint armor, the piping, and the backpack joints? Perhaps for the Imperialis and the pauldron trim as well? They might be subtle touches, but they may very well work.

I soaked the model I quick painted in your chapter color in denatured alcohol.

It's a second hand model, so I had to remove the new color layer and the old green one.

The upper layers could be removed easy but below I found a black layer with white rimed shoulder pads and a cross, which would not come off.

I feel infiltrated.
