Alright

First thing to keep in mind is im building a list for adepticon so LOWS are limited to around the 400 point mark and so in not going to have to deal with much more than knights and typhons. No primarchs either. So

HQ

Praetor

Iron halo, paragon blade, power dagger, art armor (pride of the legion)

Centurion, consul siegebreaker

Lightning claw, power dagger, art arm, refractor field

Troops

Legion vet squad x10 2 heavy bolters w/suspensors, sgt has art arm and combi mounted in rhino

(sniper vet tactic)

Legion vet squad x9, plasma gun, sgt has combi and art arm, mounted in rhino

(Fearless vet tactic)

Legion support squad x6, meltaguns, sgt has combi and art arm, mounted in rhino

Elite

Rapier laser destroyer artillery battery x3

Mortis Contemptor dreadnought w/kheres

Mortis contemptor dreadnought w/lascannons

Heavy

Deredeo pattern dreadnought with autocannons and aiolos missile launcher

Legion heavy support squad x5 missile launchers, sgt has art arm

2000 points

Thought is praetor rides with fearless vet squad. Siegebreaker hangs out with missile squad and gives em tank hunter.

List seems to have some mobility and protection against squad wiping typhon pie plates with rhinos. i can use alpha legion mutable tactics to adapt. The question i have is do i have enough anti tank to deal with typhons and spartans? Also what are peoples thoughts on laser artillery batteries?

Thanks in advance.

Well, the only sure-fire way to deal with Spartans is graviton weapons. They will have flare shields, meaning laser destroyers & lascannons only glance them on a 6, and missile launchers can't hurt them (at least not in their front arc).

Typhons might not have flare shields, but they're Super-heavies and have an extra HP, so still require a lot of firepower to take down. A Sicaran Venator will do a solid job of shutting down a Typhon until you can destroy it.

Your Praetor has a bunch of close combat gear, but he's in a unit that doesn't have any at all (and Rhinos aren't Assault Transports). Why not save some points and take a Delegatus? Price has dropped in the latest Errata and they can take 'Chosen Duty' as a Rite of War, which might be a better option for a shooty army.
