Kharybdis vs Anvillus Dreadclaw

I know the two vehicles have significantly different rules, but how different are the two models? Is the Kharybdis significantly larger than the Anvillus? It looks pretty much like an Anvillus with added missile launchers.

With the large difference in price (you get more than 2.6 Anvillus pods for one Kharybdis) I was wondering, how many bad looks you would garner if you used the cheaper one (with modifications) to count as the Kharybdis.

Another thing, the Anvillus can be mounted on a flying stand, does the Kharybdis have this option as well?

I don't have my Kharybdis built yet, but I have seen the 2 on the table top and the Kharybdis is ~2x bigger than the dreadclaw. with the struts in the down position they barely fit on a skyshield landing pad.

On the left is the Kharybdis' bottom hatch, on the right is the Dreadclaw's. The Kharybdis' hatch is also twice as thick.

The kharybdis is substantially larger. Think land raider is to rhino as Kharybdis Assault Claw is to Dread Claw. The height isn't all that much taller, but the footprint is big. As far as I know, there is a flying stand option. There is a size comparison photo of the Kharybdis, next to a drop pod, on forgeworld. The Anvillus dreadclaw is made out of the same regular drop pod, so is very similar in size. This is also why it is so much cheaper, much of it is plastic.

For proxy, I don't think it would work very well, but in friendly games you could do worse.
