3 units in the next 3 months right?

I pledge:

Sons of Horus Tactical Squad (10 man)

Sons of Horus Rhino (does this count as a unit)

Sicaran Battle Tank

If the Rhino doesn't count as a unit I'll just throw in a Contemptor or a Dreadclaw or something

So, for my fledgling Alpha Legion i'll pledge:

1 Terminator Praetor (who'll count as Alpharius until he gets a real model)

1 Lernaean Terminator Squad (who will get re-purposed into normal Terminators when they get real models)

1 Tactical Squad (who may actually get to stay like that)

With the big picture being an army of ridiculous size, containing a counts-as unit for every other legion's unique units because Coils of the Hydra is awesome.

I would like to enter this too.

I will pledge from my own garrison:

1 Centurion and 2 ten man tac squads from BAC to start as the beginning of my heresy army. Been putting it off for way to long. Only problem now is which legion. I narrowed it down to two. Death guard or Iron warriors. Both have pros and cons I am struggling with and now only have till friday to decide. It's more down to cool colour scheme as I like both play styles and fluff. Anyone able to sway me perhaps to either one. Just a nudge is all thats needed. happy.png

Between the two? I'd go for the Death Guard - the painting scheme seems more challenging to me, so I'd take this opportunity to tackle it! Also loads of Legion-specific minis out (the Grave Wardens are up there with the Phoenix Guard in beauty). Your call of course...

The Rhino will count, but do throw in the Contemptor and the Dreadclaw too! Remember, the three units is the minimum and don't start before the event kicks-off on Friday! ;)

Show us the big picture regardless! :P

My pledge is the following:

- Thousand Sons Tactical Squad (10 men, Seargent with Power Fist)
- Thousand Sons Contemptor
- Thousand Sons Heavy Support Squad (5 men with either Missile Launchers or Autocannons)

- Sons of Horus Tactical/ Despoiler Squad (15 men with Bolters, extra CCW and Seargeant with Power Fist)
- Sons of Horus Justerian squad (5 men, weapon loadout to be decided later)
- Sons of Horus Whirlwind Scorpius
- Sons of Horus Predator

The wider picture here is to kick off my Thousand Sons (going to be 2500 point eventually) and add to my existing 6000 points of Sons of Horus :)

Think im gonna start out with 2 contemptors and a 10 man veteran tac squad. Big picture is to create my first ever legal, playable army smile.png

Well, that's the name of the game! :tu:

Good to see such a build-up in interest. No Friday seems so close and yet so far...

Can't wait for this to start. It's a great motivator for me to have challenges to work towards.

Question: are we allowed to build our models prior to friday, as long as we don't start painting? Or does building and painting both have to wait till the 15th?

Yes you can assembly and undercoat. For those caught off-guard and were not alerted early enough, even a base coat will be acceptable. But really you need to have the models virtually unpainted...

That's no problem :)  All my pledged models are either grey plastic atm or primed white.

Well in that case, I will pledge the 600 points I need to build and paint for an event on the 30th.

Centurion: artificer armour; bolt pistol; power weapon; refractor field 85

14 Tactical Space Marines: 15× chainswords; legion vexilla; + 1 Tactical Sergeant (combi-weapon; melta bombs) 255

Contemptor Dreadnought Talon
Contemptor Dreadnought: Kheres pattern assault cannon x2 205

Apothecarion Detachment
Apothecary: artificer armour 55

600 points

Now I just need to wait to get out of work so I can actually start building the models. Leaving everything to the last minute as usual.

Hmmm I'm terrible at these things. But what the hell.

Now I was putting together some Sons of Horus but hit a bit of brick wall with the painting. The new Raven Guard models are really interesting to, maybe I could start with some of those Dark Furies and see where I go.

My FW order will take some weeks to arrive. unsure.png

I would like to paint some Mechanicum choices. I have this tech priestess but I don't know yet what I need to attach to have a valid weapon equipment.

Just want to start with something. Think it's possible to get a valid unit out of it?

If that's the case then could I add a vet tactical squad? They have a basecoat for the blue and bronze but thats it

Ok this is my proper pledge:

I Firenze of the XX Legion pledge to complete in full:

1 Five man Head Hunter Kill Team

2 Predators

1 Techmarine

1 Five man Terminator team

1 Land Raider

OPTIONAL AND STRETCH GOALS

1 Three robot Thallax Unit

1 Typhon Heavy seige tank

1 Warhound Titan

I pledge a 10 man Tactical Squad for the Thousand sons, now that I've settled on the Metallic pant scheme, A Thousand Sons Terminator Centurion, and a Librarian/Praetor.

Additionally, I might be able to pledge a Terminator Command Squad for the XV as well.

Me and Depthcharge are gearing up with our second armies in preparation for Inferno being released this year!

Is..is this where I pledge? Not the news section?

I pledge:

2 Spartans

1 Deredeo

9 Attack Bikes

Chaplain

Angron

Khârn

I have a metric ton of other things that need painting so if I fancy it I can add

40 Veletarii

Stormhammer

2 Vanquishers

3 Quad Mortars

Lasrifle Section

Auxilia Command Section

Dracosian

Malcador Infernus

Vorax

Xiphon

Macrotek Magos

Glaive

Salamanders Contemptor

Vulkan

A few odd Tartaros terminators scattered aboot.

10 Cataphractii

10 Legion Veterans

2 rhinos

Caestus

Praevian

Delegatus

Vindicator

Ok I'm gonma stop and stick with the reasonable amount of World Eaters..but who knows where I'll end up? Crying in a corner probably.
