AJB2K3
I want to use the terminators from the box set and "Not so wild" Red Butchers, but I'm having problems finding suitable weapons to represent the double power axes. Can anyone help? I'm looking at the forgeworld cataphracti and Tarterios sets but they are only left handed. helterskelter
Pinning, and cutting the half of the twin bolter off the other hand is one option. Being in plastic it's not too hard to do really. I've done plenty of chopping on my terminators to get desired weapons combinations and i found it quite fun Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/317771-we-modeling-help-boc/#findComment-4266427 Share on other sites
Charlo
They'd look quite brutal and savage if you mixed a load of different power axe bitz from across different model ranges. Even put on some chain ones, they're all perfectly acceptable in my eyes. Quixus
Since weapons with hands are all the rage these days, you can probably find lots of axes from bits manufacturers that are even easier to work with. Here are a few examples: http://www.anvilindustry.co.uk/The-Armoury/Close-Combat-Weapons/Battle-Axe http://www.anvilindustry.co.uk/The-Armoury/Close-Combat-Weapons/Chain-Axes http://puppetswar.eu/product.php?id_product=139 http://puppetswar.eu/product.php?id_product=215 http://puppetswar.eu/product.php?id_product=373 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/317771-we-modeling-help-boc/#findComment-4266550 Share on other sites
AJB2K3
Just ordered a set of these http://bitsofwar.com/home/185-power-axes.html http://bitsofwar.com/561-thickbox_bosky/power-axes.jpg Looking at FW's effort, I should be able to make something out of plasticard but I down hold out much luck.
