Painting the whole lot as Word Bearers because... well... why the hell not. Stumpy Heaven Posted January 4, 2016 Author Share Posted January 4, 2016 Painting process has been relatively simple Army Painter Black Spray undercoat GW Mephiston Red base coat - armour GW Boltgun Metal base coat - weapons, straps etc GW Fenris Grey base coat - weapons GW Ultramarines Blue base coat - eye pieces GW Drakenhoff Nightshade Wash - entire model will add additional washes here and there if needed GW Mephiston Red highlights - on armour after wash GW Mithril Silver highlights - face mask edges GW Black - shoulder pads, between armour joints etc Vallejo Blue highlights - eye pieces Image shows the basic process from undercoat through to application of base coats and then wash.
