Damo1701
Here you can see an Imperial Fist Assault Squad Sergeant and Marine. The Sergeant is undercoated with Matt White car undercoat, hand brushed with Averland Sunset, washed all over with Agrax Earthshade, layered with Averland Sunset, and edge highlighted with Yriel Yellow. Basic marine is undercoated with Matt White car undercoat, airbrushed with Vallejo Yellow Ochre, recess washed with Agrax Earthshade. I haven't highlighted, as after washing, as you might be able to see, natural highlights appear to be looking great currently. I have a basic, cheap airbrush, but already I am beginning to see the benefit from it. I am waiting for some of the Citadel Air paints to turn up in the post, so I can give those a trial. I am, however, happy with how the Vallejo paints are currently working. Thoughts in the differences are welcome, as well as any advice on decent airbrushes/compressors (I have a basic kit from Amazon for under £30, but boy am I impressed so far.)
