A Quick Question on BaC

So an idea just flew into my head, and I was wondering if anyone has any experience or thoughts on it. Like so many of us I have the Betrayal at Calth box (and will probably pick up 3 moretongue.png ). Now my biggest dilemma is what to build the squads up as/what weapons to order from FW.

Do you guys think it would work if I magnetized the right wrist of the BaC marines so that I can equip them with any weapon I want? Is there enough surface for a magnet? Would these work? http://www.kjmagnetics.com/proddetail.asp?prod=DH101 there are smaller ones toohttp://www.kjmagnetics.com/proddetail.asp?prod=D101-N52.

Thoughts?

The problem is not the number of marines it is the fact that I cannot make up my mind. Do I want a squad with lots of choom? Maybe a Tac squad with plasma guns etc. By magnetizing each and every marine/shooting weapon, I can build whatever I want for the game at hand, its like having a Space Marine armory smile.png

Anyway, I think I will give it a go on this first box, and see how it works. Should I place the magnets before or after painting? I am guessing after?

I have 10 boxes myself, so of the 300 space marines I plan on a few Tactical Support squads with each weapon option: flamers, meltaguns, volkites, etc.

A few Tactical Squads. I'm using the Age of Sigmar stormcast upgrade packs to make Breacher shields for a few more squads.

I haven't used micro-magnets, so I cannot say but they look like they'd work fine. A bit too much work for me, it's easier to just buy more marines. msn-wink.gif
