In 2013 I decided to paint all those Sisters of Battle minis I had been collecting since their first arrival in 2nd edition. After a fast and furious start, I became distracted by other projects, especially my gaming table for Cities of Death which took almost 9 months to finish. http://www.40k-fanworld.net/wbb/wcf/images/photos/photo-10334-c7d08c9d.jpgBut for 2016 I decided to relaunch my project, and I want to share it with you. So here is my status at the moment: http://www.coolminiornot.com/pics/pics16/img52b0268e3ea54.jpgAs you see, I have two squads of Battle Sisters, one Seraphim Squad, Karmela Engel (my version of St. Celestine) and an Exorcist (made of a 2nd Edition Whirlwind), as well as some inquisitorial supporters. Furthermore (not yet on the picture) I have this old Immolator: http://www.40k-fanworld.net/wbb/wcf/images/photos/photo-11408-3a9a2d11.jpgAnd this newer one: http://www.40k-fanworld.net/wbb/wcf/images/photos/photo-20354-bdcfd139.jpg On the workbench there are two Penitent Engines, one more Immolator, a command squad and a Repentia squad. All of them almost finished. My goal for January is to finish the Penitent Engines. I was expecting the Sisters to have golden armor, as befits the name; but perhaps such armor should be restricted to the leaders, e.g., the Canoness.
