Steve86
So looking at my bits and sprues from building up my ravenwing im confident i can build either 2 librarians or a librarian and interrogator chaplain with the mace. Also an idea on a good force weapon to give the libby(s)? Any thoughts? Thanks in advance Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/318122-which-conversions-to-go-with/ Share on other sites
Dark_Master
I go for Force Swords, strike at initiative and can get through MEQ. Some people go for Force Axes (for the AP2) if the Libby is wearing Terminator Armour, but I usually fluff my saves so prefer not to. Steve86
I was gonna go with the swords. I meant should i make a pair of casters or make a libby and int-chap w/ mace. I did look attgeaxebut im gonna test staff on my tda librarian though i was torn between sword and staff for the bike librarian so big thanks for helping with that :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/318122-which-conversions-to-go-with/#findComment-4275136 Share on other sites
Pigshead
I'd probably go for a chappy rather than a second librarian. I've been testing an Interrogator Chaplain on a bike, using a DV sarg model for now, and had great success with him. eurieus
2 librarians is never a bad thing, borderline cheesy even :D But a Int chaplain with MoR on a bike with a bunch of black knights is BADASS and will destroy LOTS of thing on the board :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/318122-which-conversions-to-go-with/#findComment-4275420 Share on other sites
SnakeChisler
I would recommend the following Interrogator Chaplain Mace of Redemption (Shroud of Heroes) Reasons - Hits at I5 twin linked S7 AP3 has ws5 and a 4+ invun with mace (non specialist) 5 attacks on the Charge with possible boosting from Psychic or with Zek Nearby will tank challanges Librarian Force Axe Reasons - AP2 Force 4 attacks on the charge doesn't pile in till Initiative 1 combo's well with the Chaplain as in if you kill everything but the Challenge character then your probably going to need some AP2 force punch. Interomancy really does nuke certain threats as does mind wipe Reasons for having different power weapons - This is getting more prevalent in my gaming circle where characters are taken basically to tank the hits ex- a 2+ save is used to tank all the AP3 Hits, the way round this is to have Different power weapons and it helps having different initiative steps too. The rules for CC state you take the hits on the closest model now if you all have power swords at I4 then your opponent can choose the most favorable outcome for him. A Black Knight squad should always take a champion for the extra / different weapon you can now manipulate the fight so that even if someone wants to tank all the hits on a 2+ FNP guy this is no longer possible due to the pile in moves by different characters. Well thanks for the break down. Ill look into using some pieces of paper clip and see about making the hand interchangeable. Ill just keep an eye out for a skull helmet. I saw a set of sweet skull helmets on anvilindustry so ill get those.
