Rommel44
Hey mates. Working on my Airborne Imperial Guard Regiment and I am loving the idea of painting them as ODST, as not only do I think they look cool, I love the Special Forces Feel they give off. Currently have my Kasrkin Squads coming in and I will be painting them up like that as well, however for the regular Guardsmen, I have a few options model wise I can do to make them ODST. Options are: * Republic Grenadier legs from Anvil Industry, Cadian Torsos, Heads, Arms with Elysian Lasguns and Grav Chutes. * Elysian Legs, Arms, Weapons and Grav Chutes, with Cadian Torsos and heads from either the Republic Grenadiers or Cadian Respirator Heads. * Cadian Torsos, Arms and Respirator Heads with Scion Legs and Elysian Weapons and Grav Chutes. These are the top 3x that come to mind, as the goal is to try and utilize as much GW model parts as possible so that it can still be legal to use in tournaments. Appreciate the help and pictures would be a huge boon as well. WarriorFish
If you're using Kasrkin in the same army I'd not make them too different to the standard Cadian so I'd try to keep them appearing as Cadians first. As such I'd go with option 2, as most of the look is torso and helmet :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/318158-best-conversion-to-represent-odst-imperial-guard/#findComment-4275777 Share on other sites
