Brother Sgt. Steine
Okay, I managed to assemble and paint the Garro model from FW over the holiday break. Overall, a really nice kit. Only a few blemishes and small defects on a few of the parts. The base was a little tricky and still does quiet seem to line up right for me. And I broke the gun barrel tying to drill it out, but managed to make well enough repairs with some green stuff. Brother-Sgt. Retributis
Great paint job, much nicer than the metallic finish FW gave theirs. I agree with you 100% about the base though, it's very fiddly to get it all to sit right (the piece with the girder on I couldn't figure out how to get it to fit so I'm stealing it for my Sternguard). Brother Sgt. Steine
Thanks Brother. It was a tough model to paint without metallic paints. And it's good to know I wasn't the only one to have trouble with that base. It'll look good on your Sternguard. I am getting ready to tackle the Roboute kit. I plan to skip that base altogether... Corswain
Looks great and the bolter barrel looks fine. Bit weird but I really like the dead Gal Vorbak. Dosjetka
Well, damn. That is one marvellous piece of painting. Excellent work, Steine! I can't wait to see what else you have to show us. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/318171-nifty-shades-of-grey-garro/#findComment-4289242 Share on other sites
