Lucius was overlooked bacause Fulgrim did not carr for people who didn't fit his personal cookie-cutter version of perfection. Just as Saul was overlooked as he didn't care for perfection but for efficiency.

Lucius was overlooked because of his friendship with Tarvitz and because he and Tarvits had come to Captain Demeter's aid when Julius and Marius had abandoned him (on Fulgrim's orders). He actually fitted very well within Fulgrim's post-Laer idea of perfection. He was egotistical, ambitious, self-absorbed, and an exceptionally talented warrior.

Also don't forget, he kicks the crap out of tarvitz (not surprised with his rules) after massacring the loyalists.

For the old legion, Solomon Demeter was a good character, was on laer and didn't turn, that's pretty swish.

I think he 'dies'' at the end with vipus, tarvitz etc in the bombardment.

 

Itl be nice to see Marius and his troop available in the next book. Time will tell.

But as I say, spoken to Bligh and he said he looking forward to doing a degenerated 3rd legion.

Also the models designers said they enjoyed the ghal vorbak, and said they would love to do fabius's 'creation' and mutant legionaries

Aye hes killed by Lucius, would be epic if he got rules, and Vespasian, all the loyalists tbh to give us an option to play the legion back before it fell into chaos, obviously it wouldn't be cannon could use them out of context and stuff though.

 

Aye Marius will be pretty awesome and from what the rumours are saying the rules are looking to be damn good! But again it would be cool to play the legion back before it descended into complete deprivation
