Aeonid Thiel - Armour MK?

I'm considering making a model of Thiel, but I'm wondering if the cover art from the Censure audiodrama is considered accurate and if so, what the hell MK is it supposed to be? I don't recognise anything Heresy-looking about it, is he described as wearing some totally unique set of artifice armour somewhere? Or is there a description of him that specifies his appearance in a different way?

If you can't tell what mark it is, it's mark V

Ugh, I hate that retcon. The issue is it doesn't look like MKV, it doesn't even look like no mark, it looks like artifice MKVII with a Black Templar/Aegis-style helmet, and I don't want to have a force of 30K Marines with a random 40K-looking HQ model standing out like a sore thumb.

I think it looks Mark IV-ish. Gold knees look like the Mark IV ones. Torso is a bit Mark VII, yes, but it doesn't exist yet. Maybe it's Praetorian armour, which is a variant of Mark IV?

From the looks of it, MKIV pack and shoulder plates, non standard or a bastardized mix of MKVI/MKIV leg plates and a MKII torso plate for sure.

The helm looks very much like the Templar/Legion Champion helmet.

This is judging from the Censure artwork anyway.

The torso looks like "crappy supply line-pattern" Mk II (the one found on the Iron Warriors and White Scars upgrade sets), the helmet may be Prætor-subpattern MkIV, the kneepad-less greaves might be MkIV, and I'll attribute the rest to a mix of skillful artificer work, and artistic technoheresy license.
