Hey guys, i recently purchased the Legion champion mini from fw to use as my captain. I'd like him to have a Combi melta. Problem is, how do I represent it? Do i just make a green stuff sling? Or would a wrist mounted Combi weapon be doable? I was thinking using a bolter attached next to an infernus pistol side by side. Our maybe one on each hand? How would you guys model it? Any and all help appreciated.

FYI, both hands on the mini are holding the sword. I'll post a picture of the mini in a few hours.

My Idea would be to take a GK storm bolter and remove half of the double-barrel and replace it with a melta barrel. Replace the double magazine with a single and maybe add some other meltalike bits.

[edit]I didn't know what the Legion Champion looked like. Since all GK storm bolters are for the left wrist, that might not be such a good idea.[/edit]

the angelus bolter idea sounds great. if i could find a way to model the forarm to the champion, it could be very good. im a little scared of ruining the model, but hey, worse comes to worse, ill just use a different set of arms.

I also like the polux idea. I'm not sure id have enough room for that unless I put one under each arm

Edit:so i just put the sanguinary guard weapons on order from ebay. It came with 6 bolters and 6 power weapons just in case i ruin something. Better safe then sorry. I will try to convert one bolter into a right hand and attach a death company infernus pistol i have in my bits box . This will be my first conversion attempt of this type. Any tips for cuting up arms?
