MikhalLeNoir
No probs. So what about the points? And for Jetbikes? I built 3 Bullok(?) pattern jetbikes. But they have seen no paint and nobody is sitting on them actually. http://images.dakkadakka.com/gallery/2016/2/24/781120_sm-.jpg Edited February 24, 2016 by MikhalLeNoir Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/318814-art-monthly-modelling-challenge-april-pg-3/page/2/#findComment-4317249 Share on other sites
bluntblade
I'd say jetbikes want a predatory name. "Bullock" isn't really an impressive name in any context. With these things my first instinct is birds of prey. Hawks, peregrines and so on. Nonetheless, I like the bike. Doctor Perils
The bullock pattern jetbike has actually been retconned and now has the plough (like Sammael's Corvex) But your pattern jetbike is too awesome not to use, so you can still give it a predator-y name (like hawkwind pattern or somethin ;) ) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/318814-art-monthly-modelling-challenge-april-pg-3/page/2/#findComment-4320624 Share on other sites

MikhalLeNoir
Lol. Never ever heard of it:) How about heron pattern. The heron is gifted to those who can handle a jetbike only a few inches above the ground. Skalpynock
Exhibit A: a Void Eagle tactical sergeant, who has since been primed (in grey, as unfortunately archaeological searches for my black spray failed). Aiming on painting him this evening. bluntblade
Skua pattern? What is skua? Sorry not familiar with the term. Like a gull, but bigger and more aggressive. Live in a coastal town in Wales for three years; you'll soon find out and get very cautious walking around with food in the open. Big Bad Squig
Tick tock, tick tock! As it stands, the Loyalists are trouncing the other two factions with 12 points to 2 and 0 respectively. You have until midnight to post, brothers, and sway this score. I shall review the topic in the morning, my time. Good luck! Skalpynock
Why did I chose to pledge on the penultimate day of the shortest month? Bravado? History will remember it as such. My contemporaries will know I just didn't notice the date. MikhalLeNoir
Well, I finished Gwalchavad and 3 heron jetbikes. But i forgot to pledge:) And I still think building a primarch for the broverse should be worth more points as every primarch is a litbash or total conversion of some sorts. Big Bad Squig
Well, time is up. We have a Loyalist victory: 12 : 2 : 0. Loyalists: - MikhalLeNoir (5 pts for a primarch, 3 pts for 3 jetbikes) - Slipstreams (3 pts for painting a terminator) - Skalpynock (1 pt for a lone marine) Traitors: - Big Bad Squig (2 pts for painting a lone marine) @Mikhal: I'll most likely change the points for a primarch in next month's post (which will come in the evening), and I've given everyone points for any models that show up in this thread, pledged or not; this is primarily an exercise in motivation, not a competition.
