HaSY
Spotted covers from HH Weekender 2016 (No, Pharos is not available and neither are these two) Silent WarRmb the old BL Weekender 2012 that talked about Sigilite waging his own secret war against traitors with Sisters of Silence and others? This is Scars part 2. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/318926-upcoming-books-from-hh-weekender-2016/ Share on other sites

Taliesin
More pictures here: http://battlebunnies.blogspot.co.at/2016/02/the-art-of-heresy-seminar.html So collating the info we have from this weekend: *John French has finished a novel called Praetorian of Dorn. This one comes completely out of the blue and if it is indeed finished then we could see that this year. As per Battle Bunnies: John French is working on Praetorian of Dorn.Focussed on Imperial Fists. Master of Dorn's Huscarl, Arcamus. Alpha Legion vs Imperial Fists in Sol System. Book is finished - has Malcador etc. * The Horus Heresy ends with the Siege of Terra. The scouring will come after it. If this is the case the projection of 50 books for the HH series should certainly be doable. Other interesting quote: Siege of the Emperor's palace is 7 months long. Are the Sisters of Silence and Custodes sitting on their Butts? No they are really involved in the Webway War. The Emperor keeps requesting more troops but they never come back ... (See The Sigilite audio drama for example for intro to it really). This war (under the fabric of space across the Galaxy) is lead by the Emperor as he really fights this secret war (which technically is the front line). Sister of Silence are gathering Psykers as weapons. The whole thing really is a hidden war, where the Sisters of Silence are fighting to claim these resources before the Traitor Horus does. * There are three covers done for upcoming novels, those being Path of Heaven by Chris Wraight ( stunning, already seen in the 2016 calendar), one for a novel called the Silent War and one for Angels of Caliban ( also with a super cool cover) * We are told that Graham McNeill has nearly completed The Crimson King. Now, what does this mean for actual releases? Path of Heaven and Angels of Caliban seem certain to come out this year. There is no artwork yet for Master of Mankind, as far as we know, but ADB thinks it will be published this year. Mc Neill has confirmed twice that he thinks Crimson King will be published this year and now we hear the book is nearly done ( as reported during the Inferno seminar today). That leaves us with Praetorian of Dorn, of which we know nothing else, and The Silent War. Does anyone have any idea what that might be about? Could it be another Garro novel/novella? Or is it about Malcador, even though he apparently also features in the new John French novel? This novel too seems to just come out of the blue, we don't even know the author. DarkChaplain
He said he'd still finish The Crimson King, and would do the occassional thing for them. But his dayjob obviously interferes with his ability to pump things out for them like he used to. hopkins
further info from LG ****** I forgot three more vague revelations:- James Swallow confirmed that he is working on a new Garro book, a full length volume in the numbered series that will look at more of the context surrounding the stories in the audio dramas, and what happens next. He knows how Garro's story ends.- Chris Wraight is looking at several "legends of the Space Wolves" through the Great Crusade and Heresy, including "the one where Leman Russ has his first run-in with his most famous rival".- Graham McNeill is working on another Magnus book at the same time as 'The Crimson King'. Taliesin
Soooo....The artwork for Angels of Caliban...Is that our first confirmed glimpse of The Lion? Seems kinda cool Gorgeous pic. Only thing I am not sure of is the hair, he is usually depicted with a full head of hair, colour varying from brown to blond. Here it's hard to determine if he even has hair. We have enough bald Primarchs :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/318926-upcoming-books-from-hh-weekender-2016/#findComment-4307046 Share on other sites

1ncarnadine
If you take a closer look He is still full head of blond hair but without moustache from Deathfire. Prolly shaved it. Deathfire came out in November right? Clearly the Lion was just participating in No-shave November. His beard grows in too patchy so he ended up trimming it to a moustache. This explains why he never gets along with Russ, as well. I bet Russ could grow a rockin' beard if he tried.
