The Pounder
OK, I've had a few games with Guilliman and a squad of Suzerain (5 in the unit). Now my question is this, when shooting, do you count the toughness of the higher number of models or the toughness of the higher amount of wounds. Eg, If there are 5 Suzerain (5 wounds) in the unit and 1 Guilliman (6 wounds) whose toughness would you use? Any help with this would be much appreciated. You always use whoever has more models as Teetengee said. So in this case it would be suzerians. Xenith
The answer can be found in the "multiple toughness values" section of the rulebook. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/318941-majority-toughness/#findComment-4302990 Share on other sites
Ishagu
lol Xenith, very consistent as always. Unfortunately it's the models you count, not the wounds. It's why I don't like footslogging a Primarch and his retinue as he becomes easier to wound. Terminus
Primarchs should have some special rule "Come at me, bro!" that lets them take all damage on their natural profile regardless of who is around them. Kind of the opposite of how Dominus Magi can be ignored or that old "shoot the big ones!" rule. This would make them a crazy good tank, but oh well. :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/318941-majority-toughness/#findComment-4320099 Share on other sites
