Advice on Painting Imperial Guard Medal

So recently a package arrived in the mail, this little bad boy.

I bought this old OOP Forge World  Imperial Guard Medallion off Ebay. I wanted to give this to a good friend of mine who is an Imperial Guard Fanatic as a late Christmas present.

 

So my question that I really need to ask you guys is... how do I paint this thing? Like what colors should I use because I'm honestly at a loss when I look at it and I can't honestly find much of any pictures of this thing online.

Warplock Bronze

Agrax Earhshade

Hashut Copper

Then a light Drybrush of Golden Griffon

 

That would be how I'd do it.

 

Then, using a hot gluegun, glue a trip of ribbon to it ;)
