Sangpriest for 4+ in any iron hands unit. comand benefit reject the flesh +1 fnp in 12" from an indipendent IH Charakter. +1 from WL trait all flesh is weakness +1 fnp on WL. In the new strike force any IH models within 12" of an IH Independant character from the same formation grants a further +1 FNP aura (just not to the priest, he is the crux and will remain at 5+). Then with Iron Hands relic and some other trickery like the new Cataphtactii Captain it would be possible to make an Iron Hands Captain that has a 2+/3++ (but he rerolls 1s)/ 2+++FNP. In addition to this, what is one thing we are lacking in terms of our codex brothers? Tanks. Ours are friggin' awesome as they are fast though - but now using the Iron Hands strike force we have a way to get essentially limitless fast vehicles as allys. One of the core choices in thier strike force is the Armoured Task Force. This is 3-5 Tank units (Vindicators/ Pred/ Whirlwinds) a Tech Marine and the option for Thunder Fire Cannons. These can be individual tanks or squadrons. Why is this awesome? Well the strike force' other bonus is that all vehicles gain power of the machine spirit. All of those vehicles, in a lot of situations are now exactly the same as fast. Oh and they have IWND. And IH have a relic you could give to the Tech Marine that makes this a 4+ within a certain range, that if it is passed also repairs a weapon/ immobilized. To run this you wil also need an Auxillary choice, but because of how wonderful this decurion is that could literally be just a single Contemptor Dread. Not to mention running this also opens up the HARDEST Space Marine commander possible and the librarian conclave (that spread around the FNP aura more). So basically: I now have a way to run superior vehicles not limited by a Baal Strike Force/ CADs/ Flesh Tearer Strike Force' 3 Heavy Support slots that can be squaded up. A Way to run a contemptor that has better stats than our own with more readily available and not-out-of-date rules. A way to sort of get back the feeling of numerous priests from older editions. So is IWND RAW for all vehicles now? Yes - AoD has pretty much thrown out chapter tactics at the army wide level. You can basically say your detachment is an "IH Detachment" and all your models get the benefits listed on the same page. Power of the Machine Spirit is especially very usefull on Predators and Las Plas Razorbacks. Will try out some combos theese days.
