Kulon Tar Posted February 21, 2016 Share Posted February 21, 2016 Hi everyone, with our local club playing more and more 30k i thought it was about time to start my own project. Was quite hard to decide for a legion but in the end i picked Raven Guard because i love the fluff and i had quite a few Rogue Trader RBT01 Marines lying around. The only concern i had was the black armor. Often it looks dull/bland but if you try to add more accents it looks grey. With that in mind i tried something new for me. If you cant get it done right with brushes buy an airbrush and spray away Here is the result of 2 layers of grey and less than 3 hours later: http://i1027.photobucket.com/albums/y333/Ioldar/Raven%20Guard/2016-02-15%2020.36.12_zpsmy3oqosx.png Decided to go for blue eyes (and power weapons, plasma effects) for a nice glow effect instead of the more common red eyes. Have to admit i'm quite pleased with the result and even more so with the speed. Don't have much time to paint but at this rate i might be able to finish some.
