olsol
This question has been bugging me all day... I have read the rules for the phase walker relic in Book 4 and it said: that the model is removed and placed anywhere within line of sight and is counted as deep striking. The legion Praevian rules state: The Legion Praevian may not leave this unit. As he is part of the unit of automata and cannot leave it, does the unit of Automata travel with him following the rules for dangerous terrain and so on or does nothing happen???? Demus Ragnok
If the rules for the phase Walker do not affect the unit the character joins then no the automata are not affected. olsol
But the rules state that the Praevian CANNOT leave the unit. Because he adds the Automata as a sort of 'bodyguard' Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/319559-legion-praevian-and-the-phase-walker-relic/#findComment-4314544 Share on other sites
Demus Ragnok
And if he cannot leave the unit and the unit isn't affected by the phase Walker then nothing happens. Spinsanity
I'd therefore tend to say he can't phasewalk until his automatas have all been destroyed... Hesh Kadesh
This. He cannot. Not even "may not". He literally cannot leave the unit. You cannot make any action that would cause him to stop being attached to the unit.
