Stormxlr
So ive been asked to assemble some models for a guy in my club 6 eldar bikes and ghostkil for 20 pounds. Ive assembled a knight atropos for him before for 10 pounds though i felt it was worth about 20 quid for the job but he also treated me to a dinner so thats fine. He is also willing to give me models to paint for him later on. I am not a pro painter but im proud in my assembly skils in magnetizing and making movable parts. Just wondering is what he is offering is a fair deal? Should i charge more or less? How much should i charge for assembly and how much for painting the models i mentioned? Brother Dallo
For assembly, I've heard half of RRP thrown about, plus/minus mate tax. Essentially it boils down to how long it will take you, and how much you want per hour. Minimum wage is around £5 per hour. Do you think it will take you 4 hours to assemble and clean those models? Hope this is useful. Dallo Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/319736-how-much-to-charge-for-commisions/#findComment-4319494 Share on other sites

Lucio
Personally I tend to value my time at the same rate that I get paid for working at my real job, less 25% because IT professional's are grossly overpayed because we don the Robes of Forbidden Knowledge :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/319736-how-much-to-charge-for-commisions/#findComment-4319877 Share on other sites
