How does apoc work in 30k?

Had a browse so thought I'd post up.

Looking at a game soon 12k either side.

Does anyone know if it's in a book somewhere?

Is it 3k with force org then whatever you like? I have all sorts that wants to come to the table, just won't fit in a force org charts.

I.e. Your limited to 4x 3k lists it's not a lot when you have to satisfy criteria etc.

In 40k the idea is 'bring what you like' (ironically, that's just 40k now)

So how does it work?

So I'm going to guess that a row chosen for that particular force org will only apply to that force org.

I play ec you see, so not many great benefits outside the kakophoni one!

I guess il have to look. But it makes sense tbh. It's just get confusing to remember in battle I think once your army all crunches together if that make sense.

The easiest way to think about it is to divide your army up into the various FOCs and play each as it's own army, but with one player. So like using Fists as an example, you've got your stone gauntlet AoD army and a leviathan super heavy detachment that are two different armies under the command of the same player.

We have always just pointed up larger armies to an approximation of the Focs, ultimately when you are running a apocalypse sized game the existing systems are going to strain and break and you need to decide between yourselves. If its a team game the simplest way is just to have multiple separate armies at least. :)

I think it can be done in force orgs, as they are suitable up to 3500-4k.

It's basically dividing the army up into different sections, as you might do in a real battle.

I don't see why you can't use the same row for them. I will have enough kakophoni to fill a couple of charts.

Obviously special characters are one off goes without saying.

Bringing a warhound, fell blade and fulgrim can use the leviathan list. I can use the aod ones for the rest.

Although. Does it make much difference to just piling all your army into one list really?
