So I made a count as nathaniel garro. Used kurtha sedd, chopped off the plasma gun and converted the mace into a sword from the legion tac sprue. Head also came from the tac. I tossed a couple etched brass inquisition symbols. His rules are interesting: http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/resources/PDF/Datasheets/Nathaniel-Garro-Rules.pdf

 

There's a lot to like about the fw model but I wasn't really feeling the bolter or chest piece. It's my first marine on a 32  :biggrin.:

This is a Medusa but with a plasma twist. Lutnit built the super structure with plasticard and I ended up buying it off him and converting up the rest. The vibe I was going for is basically a plasma artillery piece with lotsa piping and power packs and shtuff. Pretty stoked with how it turned out, I love that I was able to make use of plastic "lord of the rings" rings for the main gun. I wanted it to be cartoonishly ridiculous, I succeeded   :biggrin.: .

Finally got this guy painted.  Played around with the lighting a lot, nice to have the led's  :biggrin.:

So I got loth and my count as assassin painted. Also whipped up a count as model for kyr vhalen (30k iron warriors).
 
 

Here's my count as tormentor, perturabo's personal transport. It's based off the old armorcast shadowsword. Added a armoured section on the back for perturabo to stand on, also added an access hatch at the back as it has a transport capacity of 15. Really happy with how this turned out, can't see using it much but it sure is pretty. The reason it's "count as" is because I run my deathwatch blackshields in 30k using the iron warriors rules. 
 

Whipped up an archmagos prime, really stoked with how this guy turned out. I'm nicknaming him cthulu  :D Basically the gun arm is two photon thrusters with an infravisor on top, he's rocking a paragon blade and his servo arm will count as a chainfist. 
 
Made a hellfire plasma cannonade for my deredeo. Also made an atomantic pavaise, crazy shiled generator thingy. Alternatively magged up a big banner. 
 
Hopefully I'll have an update soon with actually painted stuff.

Thanks :) should be uploading a lot, putting the finishing touches on my tournament army. 

 

Bunch of wip stuff. Made some iron havocs with autocannons, props to stricken1 for hookin me up with the autocannons :) . After that we got a new sgt with power fist and megnetized arm. FW apothecary and a cyber skull to help remember augery scanner. Next up is a castellax with darkfire, still waiting on another one of those and a pravaen. Then we've got a conversion I'm very stoked on, wanted to make an evil looking combat servitor and succeeded, he's rockin a nanyte baster and phase walker. He's probably not as armored as he should be but I didn't want to cover up all the flesh so I added a shield servitor to help explain his invul save/armour save. After that we got a terminator sgt with combibolter and power sword. Last but certainly not least my praetor on scimitar jetbike. Made the bike from a crapload of bitz, quite content with the end result. Went for a techpriestish vibe, servo arm counts as a powerfist.

Nice conversion work, and a lot of it, too.  Really varied use of bits and lots of character.

 

Your counts-as Garro has a mold line inside his right leg and on the backpack, FYI.

Thanks dude, I'm always scrounging and trading bits tryin to get as many cables or mechanicus bits I can get my hands on 

I approve of your industriousness, brother. I also notice there's some choom hiding in your photobucket album. :wink:

It's amazing that it doesn't interfere with my industriousness lol.. well sometimes it does :biggrin.:

Something arrived in the mail :)

 

After witnessing stricken1's contemptor mortis one shotting clarence's terminator squad in one volley I knew I just kinda needed one   :lol: 

 

Addded some inquisition etched brass and a few bits. Some extra crotchal armor for added crotchal protection.

Still got some work to go but it's gettin there. The terminators still need the most work. The contemptor is almost done, still have to clean it up a bit and finalize the details. "The Krang" is also gettin there, still have lot of cleanup work to do and gotta finish the skin. Hoping to finish the army soon so I can get in a batrep with it finally  :smile.:

 

The Tyranid thing isn't part of the tournament army, it's likely going to be a count as thanatar.

Hey there, I do like the look of your tank a lot and most of your conversions as well.

I do have a question: Did you use the head of a cataphron battle-servitor on the model above? (I think you used the chest armour on it, so I wondered if you used other parts of this kit as well.)

So I added a bit to the gun, put a litte screen on the drachon's back similar to marine bikes. Changed his pistol holster to a chaos one and added some kroot pulse rounds to the leg. Should have'm based soon.

As I went through your post to check for new pics, I took a closer look at that cyber-ogryn again.

At first I had thought you made that head yourself, but this doesn`r seem the case.

 

Can you tell me, what kit that crazy head comes from please ? :happy.:

So I got a stormraven off of sallieman and converted it into a fire raptor. I had to put glue old metal predator sponsons to the center because it ended up being so back heavy but it balances now. It's not as long as the actual fire raptor but the gun mounts are the same arc. Pretty stoked with how it came out, unfortunately the cockpit plastic is all fogged up, I've soaked it in isopropyl and tried my best to clean up but no good. If anyone's got an extra one, I'll be forever greatful  :D 

 

Also got my lord celestant on dracoth conversion all primed up.

Really like the conversion work. Could you show that turrut on the landraider a bit more?

As requested some close up shots of my count as sicaran battle tank. The turret's got a hard wired gun servitor. It's a bit bigger than a sicaran. Got some scale shots next to a godhammer pattern land raider.

Cool conversion (I might steal the idea :tongue.: ), but what did you use for the front section of the sicaran?

 

It's from the old rhino kit, I put it over top of the current rhino front. Had to cut it down a little bit to fit.

Don't think I ever posted these here. My count as tyrant siege terminators. I used some missile's from anvil indusry.
