Welcome to the sons of Dorn, brother!

Your minis are just lovely, I'm a big fan of the battle scarred look as that is how 30k should be in my mind.

The shade of yellow is very good, sometimes yellow comes out way brighter than intended but your's are spot on, I especially love the Templars

Will upload some images today of my new PC Gaming/Model area, the old area was too cramped :D

Looking really good, fellow VIIth brother!

The mkIV helmets look really good on them, hadn't really thought about it and I may steal that idea for one of my templars (I intend to make every one of them a bit unique, and different helmets can really help with it). May I ask why you decided not to use the templar brethren swords? I must say that the ones you've used also look really good, I'm just curious about it laugh.png

Thanks mate! Erm just down to taste really, I really like the Calth standard words plus I wanted Siggy to stand with his sword on the field more. Been a busy time for me re-arranging my work space, decided to get a new desk

As you can see with my old set up it was quite small and very cramped, I wanted to separate my gaming from my model stuff:

First stage of the desk purge, clean up:

New desk installed, with a place to work on my models as well :D

Here how the army is shaping up so far, going to finish what I have this weekend then start saving for Spartan Assault Tank:

Will try and get the Templars all finished for the weekend but I have a lot of work to do :P

Back into the swing of things, decided to de-head my Templars. I know some people liked them but I wanted to give them a more 'Knight' vibe and I think the upgrade IF set heads gave that. Here is what my Champion will look like. Will have them all done by the end of the weekend biggrin.png

Sorry I've been inactive, Templars should be finished this week biggrin.png

Since Sigismund shaved his head I thought it might be a neat idea that his fellow Templars have also shaven theirs :D

Looking beautiful!

Thank you! smile.png

Looking good, very smooth shave though! Stubble not an option?

Stubble is heresy biggrin.png

If gruff, hard-campaigning templars can't have stubble, who can?

Only beard stubble then tongue.png

Thanks all!

Sorry for the bad lighting, will take better pics tomorrow day.

As you all know I decided to re-head my Templars to give them more of a 'Knight' look, quite pleased how they turned out.

Prepare for paint!

Group shots, I have two more Templars to make then they're finished. I'm thinking of making one a really cool looking Standard bearer for the rule of 'cool':
