No Foes Remain
Just a quick question on the Ravenwing Bike Squadron, does anyone know if they come with the standard bike bits as well as the ravenwing stuff? The reason I ask is that I want some bikers for my Astral Claws but I don't really want to get the standard three bikers (they are showing their age a bit and would look strange against the newer models, plus I'm mixing in some FW armour marks as well). If anyone knows this or has spurce pics even (google is failing me here) that would be awesome. Halandaar
These guys?: If so, yes. It's the standard Bike Sprues with a ravenwing upgrade sprue containing the winged fairings, robes, banner poles etc: Sadly, the much newer (and nicer) Ravenwing Black Knight bikes don't have the options for twin-linked Bolters, so you can't use them as a basis for normal bike squads. No Foes Remain
Cool, thanks. Really tempted to get the Ravenwing bikes rather than the standard one even if I have to shave some decals off, would be nice to have a more up to date looking squad. Ania Redfang
The RW bikes are just the old ones, only the Black Knights are new sculpts and to be fair they don't look that different, especially if you put bolters on them. The marines are nice, but they're just pads and heads unless you go robed so if you have a half decent bits box, there is really no need to use them. That said, I think the RW box is worth the extra fiver for all the stuff in it, even if you only use bits and bobs. No Foes Remain
May just get the standard bike squad and mix some bitz in... Or I may get one of each... Thanks for the information though, brothers. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/319876-ravenwing-bike-squadron/#findComment-4323686 Share on other sites
