ElectricPaladin
Three things to remember: 1) The World Eaters aren't necessarily a foot-slogging army. There are plenty of awesome assault transport options in this game, like land raiders, spartans, dreadclaws, assault claws, and so on. 2) Don't be fooled into thinking that every legion only ever fought in one specific proscribed manner. Every legion's tactics encompass a wide umbrella of related tactics centered around what the legion was known for. While I wouldn't suggest choosing World Eaters if what you want is, say, a fast moving harassing shooty force... but if you want to play an army that's fast, aggressive, and has an assault component, you'll be happy with the World Eaters, even if you would like your particular army to be mechanized, or include some awesome tanks to support your infantry, and so on. 3) Additionally, don't limit yourself to always fighting even within that umbrella. All legions were adept in all kinds of warfare. While you probably shouldn't focus on something your legion isn't supposed to be good at - mostly because special characters and new Rites of War aren't going to favor you, which will be frustrating and sad - but that doesn't mean that your collection can't include other stuff and you can't have fun mixing it up once in a while. Otherwise, how could, say, the Iron Hands ever play Zone Mortalis? In other words, this is a big game, and there's room for lots of interpretations of every legion. Bloody Legionnaire
So for vehicles.. I was thinking about getting a Phobos for my cataphractii, Rhinos for my tacticals, and a Drop pod for my dreadnought. Are those solid choices to compliment the BaC boxset?
