When are we going to see the Emperor on the tabletop?

Recommended Posts

Iirc, FW has said that there will be a model, but has not specified as to whether or not he'll get rules as well.

(no, I don't have a source, it was a looooong time ago, back when Angron was a new model).

Cheers,

Jono

I'm not sure how they'd balance it, unless he's only fieldable in a specific mission in the last HH book where he fights Chaos-Horus.

This is what I was thinking too. I'm sure they want to be true to the narrative, and it's just an important part of it.

I hope there are no general rules for him, just rules tied to the missions in the final book of the HH series.

At the Weekender they did say there would be a model, no idea on things like rules or schedule - but a model is definitely on the cards. If you're specifically waiting for it, it may be a while (duel with Horus seems appropriate, so probably when the series reaches the Siege of Terra.

Good time to make a Horus/Emps diorama.

Imagine how that would sell, like the fiery doom of a million wallets...

....burning so bright...oh so bright......and I would be part of it tongue.png Joking aside, while I'm looking forward to Empy's model, if that heralds the end of the heresy series, what will FW do after? The unification wars?

Scouring. They said that the siege doesn't end the Heresy series at the weekender.

Also, it's not like BL is currently doing a series involving orks set after the Heresy that is ripe for a new setting and rules.... msn-wink.gif

That's good to know, I always like having something interesting from FW to look forward to....even I'll never have the money to keep up with it all. tongue.png

Well, seeing as the Scouring and the Heresy is the same war/series of wars, I wouldn't be surprised if the Siege was not the ultimate end to the books.

The official version is that you just set off a batch of thermite in the middle of the enemy's army. It's got to both simulate his blinding presence and the fact that he'd melt any opposition.

Thermite is only about Malcador's level...what about a thermonuclear device? :P
