Need help with highlights

Using kantor blue as my base coat was wondering what would be good for the two highlight colors.

Any advice is appreciated

It depends. What are you trying to paint?

 

GW's "official" families for Kantor, according to the poster that came with White Dwarf 94, lists Kantor Blue>Wash Drakenhof Nightshade>Layer Alaitoc Blue>Layer Hoeth Blue or Kantor Blue>Drybrush Hoeth Blue>Wash Drakenhof Nightshade, if you're looking for a easy scheme, you can go with one of those. But you by no means have to.

 

F'rex, my Night Lords color scheme is Kantor Blue, then wash with Drakenhof Nightshade, then stipple on a coat of 50/50 Kantor Blue/Caledor Sky, then stipple on pure Caledor Sky, washing again with Drakenhof, and then do a four-stage lightning process of Caledor Sky, Teclis Blue, Lothern Blue, and Ceramite White/White Scar, followed by a light glaze over the lightning once more with Drakenhof to tint the white down and blend the colors a bit more. You could easily use the basic scheme w/o lightning by itself if you're looking for a dark blue, or the first two steps of the lightning as an edge highlight if you want a slightly brighter looking blue and feel it's necessary. It all depends on what exactly you're looking for.

I don't know which Legion you're painting, but Forgeworlds painting guide for World Eaters shoulder pads lists Kantor blue as base, then highlight with teclis blue, wash with a mix of 25% kantor, 25% nuln oil, 25% lahmian, 25% water.
