Evening all.

So i have been playing a lot since Scars have got rules but I have yet to play against a Primarch. This Wednesday I am playing against Raven Guard and the guy will be taking Corax. So my question is looking at the lists below what tricks, tips and tactics would you suggest. Bearing in mind I dont want to change my list as none of us like tailoring our lists against each other.

So he will be running I assume

What works for me:

Take librarian with divination. Attach him to a plasma support squad. He is a psyker so Corax will be hit at full bs + rerolls to hit thanks to primaris.

Oops I just noticed you don't want to change your list. Please ignore :-)

I am certain he means Tacticals.

Corax will tear up close to one unit per turn from the second turn onwards. You can outpace that.

If you really want to tackle him, there are two options. Kill the enemy units between him and your guys or use your superior mobility to move another unit closer to him. That way he loses him pseudo-invisibility.

However, you lack ranged AP2, so hosing him down and hoping that he fails his 2+ saves will be your only option.

My experience of primarchs is limited to Guiliman but ive found avoiding him at all cost generally.

Primarchs do terrible things to infanty. And bikers. So try and avoid the temptation to go for the glory kill. (i did and he flattened the praetor and all the command squad

Corax is softer than Big G and he usually runs around solo. It is also far harder to escape Corax as well. It really varies from Primarch to Primarch.

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't you need more fast choices than heavy choices if using chogorian brotherhood? I see 3 and 3.

Your army should deal with him easily enough if you keep him at arms length as long as possible and focus down the other elements of his army. If he cant kill 400 points of stuff by the end of the game you're doing well.
