Hmmm, a lot of banter and a lot of folks already throwing their vows into the ring.

I sincerely hope that AoD can get its act together on hitting completion rates.

Saying that, will completion rate be a factor this year? Or will Semper try something new msn-wink.gif

Good luck to AoD smile.png

Kurama: 30K Wolves weren't Space Wolf grey. or at least not the powder puff blue 40L Wolves have become. & if you aren't keen on the filthy Wolves which make you shudder, it might be better to start your big army as T-Sons, as the upgrades are already out there.

It'll let you make a start.

I would, if I was him. Look at the drama it made last year when we were pipped to the post. The Chaos subforum not only had a feather in their hat but legitimate grounds to be proud. Plus, it has formed a basis of a rivalry this year.

I need a little rules clarification for the ETL before I start planning too much. We are allowed to build the models fully before the start, as long as they are unpainted when we make our first vow, right?

I'm thinking about doing a bigger vow than I did last year (a single model), but I will only havea a chance of completing it if I can finish building the models no later than mid-May.

If we go by what was allowed last year, they can be primed and in the very early stages of painting. So, to be safe, a maximum of one colour on the model is probably legal. However, Semper has last say on the matter, so his word is final should I be proven wrong for this year.

Olis is correct.

Although I need to clarify that the "very early stages of painting" is there to cover the cases of people that they did not realise the event was coming and had some work done on their minis (to the tune of a base coat for example). Otherwise, the max you can work on the minis is up to undercoating...

Thanks for the quick responses, both of you. That's just perfect, I think I'll vow at least a five-man Terminator squad this year, then.

Actually, ThatOneMarshall,

It was a list of what you could get for your remaining £175.... I wish I had all the stuff I listed above though.

Looks like Kurama is going to be a 1 ,an crusade though for AoD on ETL... Methinks he might exceed the 15K limit if that will  apply this year (5x3K vows)

I know buddy but I've got to do it this way for my brother to match his current force, they won't be your typical 40k scheme it will just be closer to that then the dark sea grey. There's some schemes in the collections of heresy that are what I'll be chasing.

The thousand sons still need to be planned out and I'll need book 7 to figure out how they work, I know that wolves will a Still function similar to a normal Legion that's why I started them for this etl.

Hi there! I'm new to the forums and I've readed about the ETL and I think it could fun, so I'm pledging for AoD with my SoH. Also got 20 reavers with volkite chargers that I'll try to include in my vows!

Good to have you on board, brother. Welcome to the party. ;)

It's good to have you and don't worry once you board there are no stops;
