15 man tactical blob with an ebay'd plastic cassius figure which you then convert into a warden/chaplain or the triple choom of 1 5 man support squad with volkite Caliver 1 5 man support squad with volkite charger and 1 5 man heavy support squad with volkite culverin.

Now I've said that I want to do it along with a fourth choom squad 5 man veteran tactical squad with volkite serpenta.

Choom for the Choom God

Which tray? The one at the back with the half built tank, or the tray with the half painted models on it.?

Are your painted models gonna get stripped or re-primed?

Oh right, front tray.

They're all primed only. I spray the sprues with separate colours. All the models shown have only been blasted with a spray can, none have seen the delicate touch of my brushies yet.

Wish I was smart enough to do that!! smile.png

I only started doing it recently. It's ... more long winded I guess but you can part assemble and paint a lot easier due to a) can access areas usually obscured/blocked by arms or whatnot and b) can get far superior angles so it's easier to do fine detail.

I started mostly cos of Breachers. That shield takes up a huge space, painting the model sans shield and the shield separately was a life saver.

I only do it for the shiniest of models though, my Genestealer Cult from Overkill are getting assembled then sprayed. The Marines have stayed on the sprue and are being painted there for maximum skill.

SNIPER VOLKITE!? Why have I never thought of that...

I will note that a Vigilator has a Bolter w/ Special Issue Ammunition as part of his standard issue gear so he'd still have that in addition to the Volkite Charger.
