Well, the plan is to not spectacularly crash and burn this year, so I may just go with a nice easy 10 man Vlka Fenryka pack in preparation for Inferno...

You mean we won't see more of Los Diablos Rojo this ETL? Sad day...sad.png

*listens intently*

I....I hear...

*focuses more on the distant sound*

...I hear...a rumble....

It...It sounds like...a-a train..? Going...full speed...

But...

*tires even harder to focus*

But... I dont hear the squeal of....

....of Brakes...

*gasp*

Did a quick tally and will have some 5000 points to choose from. Doubt I'll do like las year and break the 3000 limit in a go though... There's something a tad larger that needs tackling this year... The smallest of the three yet still immense...

@Slipstreams - I think you meant Brakes there!

Or are you saying that the AoD Choo Choo Train is un-damaged?

Dude, give him a brake break.

Why hasn't somebody photoshopped the pic of Kurama from the first post into a suit of power/terminator armour?!

My excuse is i don't have photoshop...

As for etl, i'm sorely tempted to pledge ~half a companies worth of terminators, which depends on if i'm crazy/stupid/courageous enough to spend the last of my monies on a BIG forgeworld order.

A valid strategy is to take what you plan on pledging, and break it down in 4 vows. Why 4? It puts less pressure on you to perform and secures your gains as you complete vows. IF you aren't sure about that last stretch vow, don't do it. It's not worth risking your previous ones.

And you have a 5th for a wildcard. If you end up finishing everything, and treat yourself to something nice, you still have the opportunity.

Also, don't let your ego get the best of you. If you see nutjobs like Kurama post 3k vows on the onset (I mean, so do I - I've been doing this for 4 years now, I know my limits ;) ) you don't have to feel compelled to keep up with the pace. Pride is the first sign of the fall (HELLO HORUS!).

Keep a pace you know you can jog at during the ETL, and maybe spring at the end in the last stretch.

I will be pledging under AoD this year. Need some redemption, so despite probably only pledging a little, I'm all about dropping the Chaos forum for the championship title.

(don't mind all the different Heresy-era icons in my siggy. I totally wasn't planning on vowing for the AoD until I (sorta) stuck my virtual foot in my mouth over in Auggie's thread. Totally not. whistlingW.gif whistlingW.gif whistlingW.gif )

It'll depend. I'm actually close to being finished with them, just haven't updated in awhile!

Is that a Glaive I spy? It is! Oh callooh callay!

You know... I think we may need a little tally on the side for the MDRC this year. Any objections?
