Hey gang.

I know it's in the wrong place, I just don't know the right place. How do I post photos from my iphone to here? Iv finally done some painting progress and I think I need to update my Project Log for some opinions.

Please feel free to lock and delete if need be. Thanks gang.

I don't think that there's any way to post directly to the B&C's gallery from a mobile, but you could use an outside host like Photobucket or Imgur (which is what I use), upload it there, and grab the image URL and post it between the [*img] [*/img] tags without the asterisks.

Best thing that I have personally found is to hit the full version button at the very bottom of the screen. This takes you to the computer version of the website.

From there, zoom in to the top left corner of the page where it says your name, and click your name. That will drop down a menu that says stuff like "my profile", "my settings", and some other stuff.

You want "My Gallery". That will take you to a page where you can see a button that says "upload" on it.

The upload button will then take you to a page that asks you to browse your folders and stuff.

Upload as many photos as you want, and then look for the review and publish button. IIRC, after that you will be asked if you want to create a new album or use an already-created one. That option depends on you. After that, you can view your pictures, copy their direct links, etc.

The only reason for this roundabout way is that I have been unable to find a way to do it on the mobile version.

When you want to return to the mobile version, scroll to the very bottom and hit the "mobile version" button.

Photo bucket app on my phone makes things easy :D

And imgur as well.

All three options are somewhat round about so it all adds up to personal preference in my opinion. Although putting the photos directly into the BnC gallery means you don't have to worry about the forum rules regarding the linking of photos from third party sites.

And, you know, not having to deal with bandwidth issues. They will not somehow suddenly be replaced by a default image, like some hosting websites do.

Well, imgur and photobucket are round about in that you have to access a different website. Now, on the one hand, for mobile device users, it is extremely handy in how everything is mobile friendly and there are less steps involved.

Doing it all through BnC is much more direct, but it becomes roundabout by how everything is so involved and that in order for you to do anything, you have to be constantly switching through the full screen and mobile screen modes because you can only access the general gallery on the mobile version; you can't upload or interact with specifically your own material. Not in any way that I've found at any rate.

So, I guess it kind of goes to personal preference. Do you want everything to be on the BnC forum, or are you okay with a third party photo? Both options work.

Agreed. Both options have cons, so the decision of which one has been outweighed by your preferred pros is entirely subjective.
