dusara217
You call me traitor, yet you were the one who murdered billions of souls you swore to protect in the fleeting hope of pursuing a foolish vendetta. You call me heretic, yet I am not the one who abandoned the commandments of my god. You call me Fallen, yet I am the one who holds true to the principles that make me an Angel. It grieves me to see how far the Sons of the Lion have fallen. You waste my time trying to corrupt me. Unburden your soul, Sorcerer. Tell me of how you and your fellows came to this world; confess your sins. You wish for me to tell you how it is that I came here? You believe that if I confess to you my "sins" for your little recording machine, that you will have somehow purified my soul? I have fought for eons towards the preservation of all of Humanity, and yet you continue to believe yourself to be somehow superior to me! As if your Purity Seals somehow make your soul cleaner than that of the rest of us!You have one last chance to confess, Raziel, or I shall be forced to rend the knowledge from your mind myself. You tickle my humerus, Oberon! As if one such as yourself could hope to overcome me, even in this drugged and stupefied state.Last chance.Oh, very well, then, my deluded little brother, I will tell you my story, if only to spare your youthful mind the vagaries of an eternity's memories of Chaotic and Warped monstrosities. I will confess my sins. Feedback would be much appreciated! So, I'll be adding more about a Fallen Angel captured by a Dark Angels Librarian. They'll be in this sort of format, with a bit of back and forth between the interrogator and the Fallen Angel. I'm thinking that I'll probably link it to the DIY army I'm currently writing the fluff for (the New Order), which basically spends all of its time hunting Chaos Marines, putting down Chaos Cults, and doing other anti-Chaos things, since the founding members were sworn to protect humanity from the Great Beasts, whom the eight founding Astartes now understand to be Daemons (Chaos). Carrack
Interesting start. I think you found the right balance in a powerful character interrogating another powerful character. Oberon may not be fully in control, but he doesn't seem like he is out of his league either. Plus, telling your story through an interrogation could be very interesting, and a great way to fill in background.
