Cthonian Language and accent

How about they sound panjabi? Not enough fantasy characters have panjabi nowadays.

No but seriously seeing it as a sorta guttural brutal way I could think of an Eastern European or Russian feel to it. Though that would mean lots of track suits.

I do not know why, but I kind of imagined Horus having a Russian accent

As for the Iron Hands being Scottish... Well now all I can hear is Ferrus Mannus speaking with Groundskeeper Willies voice from the Simpsons.

There is no definitive Scottish accent anyway. Weegies sound different, to Burghers, as much as Dundonians sound different to Aberdonians. Such a  variance in accent and in vocabulary over such a small area.

Russ would be Nordic, Dorn: Prussian. Fulgrim, Greek, Guillemann, Italian.

Probably varies by clan, also, considering where you are from you probably notice the differences more than most. It's the same reason some people conflate new york accents with boston accents.

How about something akin to how Captain Charles Vane speaks in Black Sails or Crixus in Spartacus quite guttural amalgamation of accents...

Having just started watching Spartacus recently, I can conclude the same :)

Though, the Cthonians are a nest of vipers similiar to ancient Romans...
