mertbl
Has anyone tried using the deathwatch marines in their ig force? I was thinking of trying the librarian or the raven guard guy. WarriorFish
The Deathwatch are taken as an entire squad, so you have to take all or nothing. They'd be a cool way to add some Marines to your force, as well as offering some things Guard can't get. I don't think they're a particularly great unit but they do have some nifty tricks, this tactica topic should give you plenty of cud to chew :tu: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/320916-deathwatch-marines/#findComment-4349404 Share on other sites
mertbl
There are data slates and point costs for some of the marines. Treated as unique characters. WarriorFish
That's a good point, so you could just take a HQ and Donatus as the minimum I didn't think of that. Not bad but single models scurrying about probably won't last that long. Depends what you do with them? MagicHat
35 points aren't that much for a single miniature that is easy to hide. He could easily jump around from cover to cover and bully smaller squad. In theory at least. mertbl
I thought you could take the individual marines that they created entries for, not that interested in taking 300 points of models just for the librarian. I'll just drop in the libarius conclave if i need to go that far.
