Sister themed Maelstrom objective marker help

Hey guys I need a bit of help here.  I purchased these nice metal pins and I want to turn them into objective markers 1-6 for Maelstrom games (my area plays Maelstrom a lot)

 

Here is a pic with a 40mm base included for scale.  My hope is to keep the objectives on the 40mm base.

Are you asking how to number them differently for ease of use, or are you asking what to do with them in terms of themed objectives (things such as banners, relics, etc)?

 

If it's numbers you could add transfer fleurs in the space around the main pin: the number of transfers equals the number of the objective.

Perhaps some bitz from a scenery kit would be good for the base, with the Fleur at the top. Not sure the best way to number them in that case, unless you add a number of helmets/skulls/other grisly bits to denote the number

I was originally asking for numbering help but now that you mention it I'll listen to any and all suggestions

Secret weapon sells spent bolter casings, array them on the bases so that one casing is objective 1, two casings are objective 2 etc. You could use candles, skulls, purity seals, or whatever else suits your fancy instead.

In that case the most important thing is a prominent indicator of the number each objective has, so the simpler the better in practice. It helps to be able to spot the number at a glance, and usually from overhead.

 

The best things I've seen are banners with numbers on both sides, themed bases with a number of objects on them related to the relevant number, or just large, numbered discs.

These are my markers using the Book and scroll that comes with the Canoness:

Those are sharp Aquilanus. Keep them simple and easy to read. A simple base like the above, solid gold for the aquilla and then either red or white dots/stripes/markings, starting with one and building up to six.
