Trick question : Which Primarch is the most casual ?

Another stupid question from me, but I was wondering : All of the Primarchs are serious and intense, and I wanted to know according to you which one was the most casual ? Not as in the least invested in the Great Crusade, but every Primarch I've read about is super intense about things and I was wondering if you knew any that was a bit more casual and playful than the other ones ?

Cheers ! :D

Horus I'd say, maybe joint with Russ but as opposite sides of the same coin.

love Horus' portrayal in the first Heresy book. He's all smooth and knowledgable without ever seeming full of himself.

Whereas Russ is pretty happy go lucky and drinking and rioting.

Jaghatai was quite un -serious, "by the time I kill, I am always laughing" he also encouraged his warriors to pursue things outside war, like poetry, calligraphy and hunting (but that's not unique to him, I think Magnus did the same as well as fulgrim to some extent)

If you read scars, he basically sees through all the other primarch's BS and even the emperors

I'd agree on Russ too

I'd say Russ and Jaghatai.

I'd actually counter that Jhagatai hardly seemed casual, and that the quote actually meant that he'd be deeply passionate about every combat, and most likely coming off as deeply intense and serious to most, bordering on inapproachable to most, as he is mostly shown feeling rather disjointed from the broader Imperial culture and customary behaviour.

The "extracurricular" activities doesn't strike me as overly casual, more as striving for excellence in every aspect of life. I'd hazard that there's some stoic confusianism engendered there by the authors.

That's not to say that he might well have been casual, but I'd suspect it'd be kept to a close circle of his confidantes, mainly other Chogoris-bred Astartes.

I'd agree that Vulkan, Russ and perhaps Sanguinius might be the more approachable Primarchs, possibly with Lorgar and Magnus close behind, at least where their own legions were concerned.
