Terminator command squads

I have a question regarding Terminator command squads.

This unit when equipped with power armour comes with a two wound standard bearer, however when equipped with the Terminator armour upgrade no mention is made about the standard bearer, a squad sergeant is mentioned instead in the wargear section.

Does the unit still include a Standard bearer and the sgt is just a typo?

I'm interested in including them in my Night Lord army as a easy option to get my Terminator Praetor + unit into a Dreadclaw drop pod. Plus the chosen bodyguard count as characters so can carry Nostraman chainglaives

You must be looking at the old rules in Betrayal. The new rules are in the "Isstvan Campaign Legion: Crusade Army List", also known as one of the Red Books. Be warned, it is probably getting an update soon.

 

Command Squads are now Chosen Warriors instead of Characters, but can issue & accept Challenges as if they were. No Nostraman chainglaives sorry, but the Dreadclaw idea is fine - they can even take one as a Dedicated Transport.

It says Terminator Standard Bearer now, not Sergeant. And he's also a Chosen Warrior.

He should have 2 wounds as far as i'm aware

Thanks for the assistance, I'll get converting a standard bearer, just a shame about the chainglaives.

FYI add an apothicary to this command squad, it wont have termie armour but can have the Arti armour as normal, best way of getting FNP on termie squads IMO!
