dtse
Anyone use a void shield generator and ravenwing? Are we allowed to take it wth ravenwing strike force? I don't have rules for VSG in hand but I notice frontline has just released a model for it Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/321313-ravenwing-and-vsg/ Share on other sites
Cypher 102
The Ravenwing Strike Force does not have any force organization slots for fortifications. The rules for the Void Shield Generator can be found in the Stronghold Assault book. I don't see how the Void Shield Generator would affect Ravenwing any differently than other models as it doesn't provide any particular cover save. Ania Redfang
A large support squad within a shield bubble would be nigh untouchable with a darkshroud. Place in the backfield with typhoons and heavy bolters. dtse
So I guess you'd have to use a CAD to run a VSG. But still. With a nice Congo line of bikes and a support squadron. Basically untouchable. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/321313-ravenwing-and-vsg/#findComment-4360242 Share on other sites
Chaplain Lucifer
Conga lines will only go so far... and terrain will also hinder said conga line. Plus it will make you extra vulnerable to CC since you can't bring numbers to bare...
