One player brings the Last of the Serrated Sun Rites of War detachment and their team mate not playing Word Bearers brings the allied detachment. You just cant have a single army with an Allied Detachment that shares the same legion with the primary. captainblow Posted April 12, 2016 Share Posted April 12, 2016 Omw to work so just 2 things I noticed real quick: Primary detachmwnt needs a seccondary hq in the formcof ancenturion or chaplain, to fulfill charismatic leadership. In the allied detachement you have a jump pack hq, is the plan to have him run solo? He cant join the ashen circle due to the bitter duty special rule. Caustic63 Posted April 12, 2016 Share Posted April 12, 2016 If your ally rolls a 6 on the Dark Channelling table then your entire army will have NO SCORING UNITS. This is a big trap with the Last of the Serrated Sun RoW since Gal Vorbak can never score and yet can be taken as Troops. I think your best solution to fix this would be to include a unit or two of Terminators instead of GVs and have them drop in together, and/or have a single Tactical squad to grab a backfield objective.
