captainblow Posted April 13, 2016 Share Posted April 13, 2016 I don't actually have the daemon codex, but I believe Daemon isnt the usr preventing others from joining. It's Daemonic Instability that does so, hence the diabolist can not join codex daemons units. He (and all your other IC's) can however join the gal'vorbak. They're a happy bunch! Jimm Posted April 13, 2016 Share Posted April 13, 2016 Don't think so, don't have daemon codex to hand but from memory only ic with the same daemon alignment can join a squad of daemons. As wb units don't have daemon of khorn, nurgle... They can't be joined by daemon ic who all have this (other than be'lakor who's a mc so can't anyway) same applies the other way around with wb ic and daemon squads. Diabloists can join gv squads however as they don't have demonic alignment Found it. Daemons codex has a special rule called 'Daemonic Alignment'. it states that Daemons can only join units that are composed entirely of Daemons of the same alignment as themselves (ie. slaanesh herald cant join plaguebearers). The Daemon rule in the 40k rulebook does, however, and since I don't see anything in there preventing anyone from joining a Daemon unit, I fail to see any problem in the Diabolist - or anyone else - joining the GV...
